The Competition Rules

All of the rules from The Challenge must be followed.

In addition:

You must submit a maximum of 5 high-quality images of your project by e-mail to bfacimages@beadingforacure.org by August 2nd, 2010.

Each image must measure 600 pixels wide and may be whatever height is required so that all of your project is visible.

At least one of the images should show a detail of the beadwork.

Please remember that the judges will be evaluating your project based on the images you supply. The clearer and more detailed your images, the easier it will be for the judges.
Your project should be photographed on either a 255 white background or a plain-colored gradient background.
Excessive props will only distract the judges from your beadwork.

You may have the photographs professionally taken, taken by yourself, or by a friend.

If your image files are too large to send by e-mail, you can send using a large image transfer service such as: http://www.transferbigfiles.com/

Your project must be postmarked no later than August 2nd, 2010 and mailed to:
BFAC
c/o Kate Ball
PO Box 321
Somers Point, NJ 08244

Failure to follow any of the rules will result in a disqualification.
Your project will be returned to you by mail.
Your project will not be judged and cannot win any of the prizes offered.
Your project will not be auctioned off with the other projects in March.
You will be disqualified from participating in next year's Beading For A Cure event.
You will be requested to make a minimum donation of $50 to Beading For A Cure.
